A fair is held at Bharmour in August every year, providing a rare occasion to see and study the customs and rituals of the local people.
Traditionally maniamehsh yatra was held from Janamashtami to Radhashtami every year. However since the formation of Manimahesh Yatra Trust in 2015 officials started mulling over increasing the period of Manimahesh Yatra so more people can visit holy Lake.

In 2018 Manimahesh trust was thinking of increasing the period of Yatra for two months. If any information is not updated here then official period of Manimahesh Yatra would be from Janamashtami to Radhashtami.
